We were tasked with producing an interactive game for use at trade shows and school visits for Horizon Nuclear Power. The premise of the puzzle was to create the massing shape of a typical power plant while also lining up graphics showing the basic processes involved. The whole game needed to have an integrated timer for a competitive edge and be able to be light enough to easily manoeuvre while robust enough to with stand a hard life.
The pieces themselves were made of foam, clad in thin MDF sheet before being wrapped in brand coloured vinyl and white graphics. The base featured recessed lighting and integrated timer unit and some surprisingly complicated electronics.
